Hub.life is committed to providing technologies and quality services that will enable you to connect with others, build communities, and grow your business. The Terms outlined here govern your use of Hub.life and its features, as well as any other products, apps, services, technologies, or software we offer, or might offer in the future.


Hub.life and its features are free to use, because businesses and other organizations pay us to advertise their products and services on our site. By becoming a member of the Hub.life community and using our features and products, you are agreeing to allow us to show you ads that we think might be relevant to you and to your interests. Your personal data, activity, interests, and how you interact with content are what help us determine which ads to show you.


Protecting your privacy is our central focus, and your personal data is NEVER sold to advertisers, and we do NOT share any information that directly identifies you (like your name, email address or any other contact information), unless you specifically give us permission to do so.


Instead, advertisers create ad campaigns that target the kind of audience they want seeing their ads, and we show those ads to people who may be interested. We then provide these advertisers with reports on how their ads are performing so that they can understand how people are interacting with the content they have shared on and off of Hub. 


Our Data Policy outlines how we collect and use your personal data to determine what ads you see as well as provide all of the other services and products described below.


  1. The Products and Services Hub.life provides


    We created this community so that you could have a voice again, and we are committed to making this a place where you can freely share your hopes, dreams, thoughts, and ideas. Our mission is to bring millions of voices together, and through the power of uniting, we can change the world and make a positive difference in the lives of others!


    To advance this mission, we provide the Products and Services described below to our community members:


    A personalized experience:

    Because you are unique in your own way as an individual, your experience on Hub.life should also be unique and unlike anyone else’s. So based on the content that you see and share, the features you might use, the connections you make, and the choices and settings you choose, we use that data to help personalize your experience on the Hub.


    A connection with people and organizations that you care about:

    One of our primary goals is to help you find and connect with the people, groups, businesses, organizations, and others that are important to you. Based on how you interact with our site and the content you see and share, we use that data to make suggestions for you and others - for example, people you might know, Groups to join, Pages to follow, Events that might interest you, etc. Stronger ties make stronger communities, and Hub.life believes that our Products and Services are most effective when people are connected with one another, and to the groups, businesses, and organizations that they care about.


    Empowerment to express yourself and communicate about what matters to you:

    You have a voice and that voice should be heard!


    Hub.life offers you a variety of ways to express yourself and to openly communicate with friends, family, and others about what is important to you - for example, posting updates, sharing photos, videos and other content, sending messages and chatting, creating events, and starting groups and pages. Hub.life is committed to developing and exploring new ways for you to use technology to create and share more expressive and engaging content.


    Help discovering content, products, and services that might be of interest to you:

    We show you advertisements, offers, and other sponsored content to help you discover content, products, and services that are offered by the businesses and organizations that use Hub.life and its Products and Services. Section 2 below explains this in greater detail.


    Protection and support for our community:

    Community can only be built if people feel safe, and Hub.life is committed to protecting our members from intentional misuse of our site, Services, and Products, as well as from content and conduct that could be harmful towards others. Should inappropriate content or harmful conduct be discovered, we will take the appropriate action to deal with it - for example, offering help, removing content, removing or restricting access to certain features, disabling an account, and even contacting law enforcement if necessary. 


    Safe and functional services for everyone by using and developing advanced technologies:

    Because we want people to be able to use our Products safely, regardless of physical ability or geographic location, we are working on building a sophisticated network with automated systems and advanced communication technologies to make our Products and Services more accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. Our network will be working to constantly improve our ability to detect and remove dangerous activity and content that may harm our community and integrity of our Products and Services.


    Making our Services better through research:

    We believe that research is critical in helping us to develop, test, and constantly improve our Products and Services. This includes analyzing the data we have collected about our members, and understanding how they use and interact with our Products and Services. Our Data Policy explains in greater detail how we use that data for the purposes of developing and improving our Products and Services.


    Provide consistent and seamless experiences in regards to our Products and Services:

    Our Products and Services were specifically designed to help you find and connect with all people the people that matter to you, as well as groups, businesses and organizations, and to make that experience one that is consistent and seamless. 


    Enable access to our Products and Services on a global level:

    To operate globally, content and data are stored and distributed in our data centers and systems, and may be outside of your country of residence. This infrastructure is operated and controlled by Hub.life, or its affiliates.


  2. How our Products and Services are funded


    Hub.life and its features are free to use, because businesses and other organizations pay us to advertise their products and services on our site. By becoming a member of the Hub.life community and using our features and products, you are agreeing to allow us to show you ads that we think might be relevant to you and to your interests. Your personal data, activity, interests, and how you interact with content are what help us determine which ads to show you.


  3. User commitments to Hub.life and our community


    Our Products and Services are provided to you and to others with the understanding that you are making the following commitments:


    • You are using the same name that you use in everyday life.
    • You are providing accurate information about yourself.
    • You are creating only one account (your own) and are using your timeline / newsfeed for personal purposes
    • You are not sharing your password, giving access to your Hub.life account to others, or transferring your account to anyone else (without our permission).


    Although we want Hub.life to be broadly available to everyone who wants to be part of our online community, you cannot use Hub if:


    • You are under 13 years old.
    • You are a convicted and registered sex offender.
    • We have previously disabled your account for violations of our Terms or Policies.
    • You are prohibited from receiving our products, services, or software under any applicable laws.


    You are also agreeing to abide by our Community Standards:


    • Posts containing pornography or nudity of any kind will be deleted
    • Racist posts will NOT be tolerated at all and will be deleted. This includes anything promoting the ideologies of white supremacy, Nazi and Neo-Nazism, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Black Panthers, ISIS, and other hate groups.
    • Because we believe in the sanctity of life, any posts that support the killing of unborn children and promoting abortion will automatically be removed.
    • Hate speech directed toward Jesus and his followers will NOT be tolerated in any shape or form on the Hub.
    • Any posts that are openly promoting Satanism, and other cults will be taken down. Posts that support and promote violent religious groups like ISIS will also be removed.
    • Anything promoting illegal activity will be deleted.
    • Any posts promoting and glorifying violence will also be removed.
    • Any posts that incite hatred or violence against law enforcement, including ICE, will be deleted. (Posts about a police officer who has committed a crime or posts that expose departmental corruption are acceptable).
    • We also reserve the right to review and delete any posts that we feel promote and support ideologies like socialism and communism.
    • Finally, please limit the use of profanity in your posts out of respect and consideration for other Hub.life community members.


    Repeated violations of our Community Standards could result in temporary suspension, or in extreme cases, the user’s account being disabled and closed permanently.

  4. What you can share and do


    It is important to us that the integrity of our community is maintained, and that the safety and well-being of our members is never compromised. With that being said, you agree to not engage in the conduct described below, or to facilitate or support others in doing so:


    1. You agree to not use our Products and Services to do or share anything:
      • That violates these Terms of Service, our Community Standards, and other terms and policies that govern your use of Hub.life
      • That is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent.
      • That infringes or violates someone else’s rights, including their intellectual property rights.
      • That may expose us or others to legal liability.
      • That may harm or be harmful to our community of users.
      • That may compromise or interfere with the integrity or operation of any of our Products, Services, systems, or infrastructure.
    2. You agree to not upload viruses, malware, spybots, or malicious code, or do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working, functionality, or appearance of Hub.life’s Products and Services.
    3. You agree to not access or collect data from our Products or members using any automated means and without our prior permission, or attempt to access data you do not have permission to access.


    We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content that is in violation of these provisions.


    If content that you have shared has been removed because it is in violation of our Terms of Service or Community Standards, we will notify you and explain why your content was removed, and provide you with any options you might have for appealing our decision or requesting another review of your content.


    We encourage you to report any content or conduct or conduct that you believe violates our rights (including intellectual property rights) or our Terms, policies, and Community Standards.


  5. The permissions you have given us


    In order to provide you with our Products and Services, we need certain permissions from you. These include:


    1. Permission to use the content that you create and share:

      Some of the content that you upload and share, such as photos and videos, may be protected by intellectual property laws (such as copyrights and trademarks). You own the intellectual property rights for any such content created, uploaded, and shared on Hub.life, and nothing in these Terms of Service take away those rights. You are free to share that content with anyone you want, whenever and wherever you want.


      However, in order to provide our Products and Services, you must give us legal permissions, known as a ‘license, to use this content. We use this ‘license’ for the sole purpose of providing and improving our Products and Services as described above.


      More specifically, any content that you create, upload, post or share that is covered by intellectual property rights on or in connection with our Products and Services, you are granting us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content. For example, when you share a photo on Hub.life, you give us permission to store, copy, and share it with others. This license / permission ends when your content is deleted from our systems. Content may be deleted individually or all at once by deleting your account. 

      When you delete content, it is no longer visible to other users, but may continue to exist elsewhere in our systems where:


      • immediate deletion is not possible due to technical limitations (in which case, your content will be deleted within a maximum period of 90 days from when you delete it);
      • your content has been used by others in accordance with this license and they have not deleted it (in which case, this license will continue to apply until that content is also deleted); or
      • where immediate deletion would restrict our ability to:
        • Investigate or identify illegal activity or violations of our Terms and Policies, or intentional misuse of our Products and Services and systems;
        • Comply with a legal obligation, such as the preservation of evidence; or
        • Comply with a request from a judicial or administrative authority, law enforcement or a government agency;


      in which case, the content will be retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it has been retained, with the exact duration being on a case-by-case basis.


      In each of the cases above, this license will continue until the content has been fully deleted. 


    2. Permission to use your name, profile picture, and any data regarding how you interact with ads and sponsored content:

      You are giving us permission to use your name and profile picture as well as information and data on how you interact in regards to ads, offers, and sponsored content on Hub.life, without any compensation to you. 


    3. Permission to update software that you use or download:

      By using or downloading our software, you are giving us permission to download and install updates to our software as needed and where available. 


  6. Using our intellectual property

    If you use any of our content covered by intellectual property rights alongside your own content, we retain all rights to that content, but not yours. You may only use our copyrights, trademarks, or any similar marks with our prior written permission. You must obtain our written permission, or permission under an open source license, to modify, create derivative works of, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from us.


  7. Additional provisions


    1. Updating our Terms of Service:

      Hub.life is always working towards constantly improving our services and developing new features to make our Products and Services better for you and our community. Because of this, we may need to update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect any changes or updates to our services and practices. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you before making any changes to our Terms of Service and will give you the opportunity to review them before they go into effect. Once any updated Terms are in effect, you will be bound by them if you continue to use our Products and Services.


      Our hope is that you will continue using our Products and Services, but if you do not agree with our updated Terms of Service and no longer want to be part of the Hub.life community, you do have the option to delete your account at any time.

    2. Accounts that have been suspended or terminated

      Our priority is to make Hub.life a welcome, but safe place, where people can feel free to express themselves by sharing their thoughts and ideas.

      Intentional and repeated violations of our Terms or Policies, including our Community Standards, could result in the temporary suspension or permanently terminating access to your account. Your account may also be suspended or disabled permanently for repeatedly infringing on other people’s intellectual property rights, or where we are required by law to do so for legal reasons.

      If we are forced to take such actions, we will notify you and explain any options that you have for appealing our decision, or requesting a review, unless doing so exposes us or others to legal liability; could cause harm to our community of users, compromises or interferes with the integrity and operation of any of our Products and Services and systems; or in cases where we are prohibited by law from doing so for legal reasons.

      If you delete or we permanently disable your account, these Terms of Service shall also terminate as an agreement between you and Hub.life, with certain obvious provisions remaining in place and in effect even after the agreement between us has been terminated.

    3. Limits on liability

      Hub.life is working hard to provide the best Products and Services that we can and to make sure that there are clear guidelines for everyone that uses them. Our Products and Services, however, are provided “as is,” and we make no guarantees that they will always be safe, secure, or free from errors, or that they will always function without disruptions, delays, or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. 

      Hub.life does not control or direct what people and others might do or say, so therefore we are NOT responsible for their actions or conduct whether online or offline, or any content they might share that might be deemed offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable.

      Hub.life cannot predict when issues might arise with our Products and Services, so therefore our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and under no circumstances will we ever be liable to you for any lost profits, revenues, information, or data, or consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms of Service or Hub.life Products and Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, or Hub.life Products and Services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months.

    4. Disputes

      We have tried our best to provide clear rules so that we can limit or hopefully avoid disputes between you and Hub.life. If a dispute does arise, however, it is useful to know up front where it can be resolved and what laws will apply.

      For any claim, cause of action, or dispute you have against us that arises out of or relates to these Terms or the Facebook Products ("claim"), you agree that it will be resolved exclusively in a U.S. District Court or state court located in the state of Colorado. You are also agreeing to submit to the personal jurisdiction of either of these courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim, and that the laws of the State of Colorado will govern these Terms and any claim, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

    5. Other


      1. These Terms of Service make up the entire agreement between you and Hub.life in regards to your use of our Products and Services, and will supersede any prior agreements.
      2. Some of the Products and Services we offer are also governed by supplemental terms. If you use any of those Products and Services, those supplemental terms will be made available to you and will become part of our agreement with you. 
      3. If any portion of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms, it will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms must be made in writing and signed by us or it is considered invalid.
      4. You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms of Service to anyone else without our consent.
      5. You may designate a person as a legacy contact to manage your account if it is memorialized. Only your legacy contact or a person who you have identified in a valid will or similar document expressing clear consent to disclose your content upon death or incapacity will be able to seek disclosure from your account after it is memorialized.
      6. These Terms of Service do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights. All of our rights and obligations under these Terms are freely assignable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise.
      7. Hub.life appreciates your feedback and any other suggestions you might have in regards to our Products and Services. We reserve the right to use them without any restriction or obligation to compensate you, and we are under no obligation to keep them confidential.
      8. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you as a user of our Products and Services.
